                          U.S. NAVY FIGHTERS Patch
                          ------------------------

List of files in this package
-----------------------------
GF166 COM ........... UltraSound digital driver for USNF.
ULTRAMID EXE ........... Resident audio engine required by GF166.COM.
ULTRAMID INI ........... Configuration file for ULTRAMID.EXE.
 README ........... This file.

Description
-----------
This driver will allow you to update U.S. NAVY FIGHTERS to allow digital
 native UltraSound support.

Installing this driver into U.S. NAVY FIGHTERS
----------------------------------------------
If you are reading this you have probably already unzipped
all the files into a directory.

Copy all files in this archive into the USNF directory on your hard drive.

For example, if USNF is installed in the directory C:\GAMES\USNF
on your hard drive, you would go to the directory in which you unzipped
 these files and type:

    COPY *.* C:\GAMES\USNF

Before running the game, you will have to load the ULTRAMID.EXE TSR first.
You will have to do this each time before you run the game.
Go to your USNF directory, and run ULTRAMID by typing:

    ULTRAMID

 Now, start USNF by typing:

    USNF

Now, "Advanced Gravis UltraSound" will appear in the "Select a sound driver
from:" menu in the Configure Hardware option of the game. Select the
UltraSound option and continue. Select "No Sound" from the "Select a music
 driver from:" menu.

That's it. Now you can enjoy USNF with Digital UltraSound support.

Notes
-----
Remember to run ULTRAMID each time before you run the game.

Any other UltraSound TSR's such as SBOS, or Mega-Em, should not be loaded,
as they will conflict with this driver.
